An ongoing new collaboration between Elías Merino and Rian Treanor, exploring the crossover between extreme generative synthesis and oblique pattern deformation through a hybrid of multichannel installation, live performance and site specific recorded works. Throughout the residency the duo will continuously reshape and reconfigure the speaker arrangements and set up, exploring how the space binds together different streams of sonic objects in an elastic time, creating new interconnected structures and unitary forms. Spatial-Deviation Geometries is a sound exploration on anti-symmetry, minimalist sculpture, extreme pattern deformation, space, and materiality of digital synthesis.
